Series 22: Photographs, undated, 1924-1996
Scope and Contents
The bulk of this collection is made up of photographs of the CISS administration, including portraits of CISS’s presidents up to Jerald M. Jordan.
Of particular interest is a photo album from the 8th International Games for the Deaf in Italy, 1957, documenting the opening ceremonies, some of the competitions, and other events. Also included is a collection of small headshot photographs of athletes and team leaders from the 1969 and 1973 World Games of the Deaf, which were used to make identification cards.
