Secretary-general’s correspondence to Sudan, 1989
Scope and Contents
Correspondence involving the office of the secretary-general. Most of this series is from the term of Secretary-General Knud Søndergaard, although there are some letters from his predecessors, Osvald Dahlgren and Antoine Dresse. The great majority of the series (boxes 28-45) is correspondence between the secretary-general and various national deaf sports organizations. It is divided into two ranges, to the secretary-general and from the secretary-general, alphabetically by country within each range. Also included is some early correspondence from Antoine Dresse on various athletic regulations and other subjects, and a series of correspondence from Knud Søndergaard on world record requests that have been rejected (both in box 46). See series 15 for more on world records.
