The Board of Directors was responsible for setting ASDC’s goals and policies. This group was originally called the Executive Board, but was renamed after the 1984 name change. Included in this series are minutes from board meetings, correspondence to and from the board and individual members, and some material, including ballots, from elections to the board.

This series also includes a small amount of material from various ASDC committees, as well as some lists and group information sheets for ASDC affiliate groups across the country.
