Scope and Contents
Project HOPE was a project conducted in the early 1980s by the Action Alliance for the Parents of the Deaf (AAPD). Project HOPE arranged for deaf adults to make home visits to parents of deaf children in order to help explain deafness to the parents and provide deaf youth with adult role models. This series includes planning documents, grant applications, evaluation forms, and other materials created during Project HOPE, as well as some records from similar projects conducted by AAPD and ASDC.
