Includes correspondence, publications, and other material from international sports governing bodies, particularly the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The IOC material includes a copy of the 1955 letter in which the IOC sanctioned CISS as the governing body for world deaf sport, as well as later correspondence on the use of the Deaflympics name. Also includes correspondence between ICSD and various international sports federations for both deaf and hearing sports. Box 102 includes an attendee kit for a regional confederations seminar in 2002.
