The Alliance for Progress was an interagency organization set up under the auspices of the National Association for the Deaf (NAD). Its goal was to support smaller deaf organizations, such as the ASDC, by allowing them to share funding and personnel for basic administrative services, including typing, mailing, bookkeeping, and similar tasks.
