The bulk of this series is several partial drafts of an unpublished book to be called Journeys of a Deaf Actor, recounting Bragg’s experiences on his trips outside the country. Much of this material was later worked into Bragg’s autobiography, Lessons in Laughter. Also includes a final typescript copy of Bragg’s master’s thesis for San Francisco State College (see also series 15).

This series includes both articles written by Bragg and articles by others on topics that interested him. It also includes a variety of notes, papers, and speeches written by Bragg, including some notes on why he resigned from NTD, and notes on a system of writing for ASL that he tried to develop.
