Series 3: Correspondence, 1959 - 1985
Crammatte’s correspondence with various prominent deaf people and members of the Gallaudet faculty and administration. Bulk is from the mid-1980s, although there are a few earlier letters, including a 1959 note from deaf artist Cadwallader Washburn. Also includes some correspondence with other Maryland Commission members (see series 1), as well as a collection of family Christmas letters from the 1960s.
Series 4: Notes and correspondence for American Annals, 1973 - 1990
Correspondence, clippings, notes, and draft copies for Crammatte’s contributions to the American Annals of the Deaf, where he served as editor for the “Comment” section. Includes clippings and notes on stories related to deaf issues, correspondence with McCay Vernon (then editor of the Annals), and correspondence with other subjects of articles Crammatte was working on.
