Scope and Contents

The Martin Minter Papers consists of papers related to Martin Minter’s professional career at Gallaudet. The papers include Minter’s dissertation, various articles submitted for journal publication, his work on revising the Physical Education and Recreation Department’s handbook, and some letters. The papers are dated from 1987-1991, the bulk dating in 1987-1988.

Scope and Contents

The Martin L. A. Sternberg Collection consists of one folder which dates from 1949 to 1950. In the folder titled “Scrapbook Project” which was a school project used in a course of “News and Feature Photograph IV” that Martin Sternberg attended.

Organizational papers fill this collection primarily. Mostly legal documents such as minutes of the meeting, agendas of the meeting, by-laws, constitution, and financial reports are included in this collection. Correspondences with Gallaudet College students who got this financial help are included. Morgan R. Owens Foundation provided the brochures from their organizational papers.

Scope and Contents The Morse Family Collection includes materials related to his inventions, and some personal correspondence between members of the Morse Family. The collection dates from 1815 to 1892 and consists of 49 items.The majority of the papers are dated during the 1880’s.
